Long needed improvements were made by the new promoters for the '64 season.
Ready for action
No matter what the name of the track was, it still had one major flaw.
Had boat racing been popular at the time.... this may not have been much of a problem.
With the rain gone and the water dried up, racing was full steam ahead.
